WHAT TO DO WITH LEFTOVER FILLO-crunchy cinnamon vanilla sweet bites

I had some filo sheets ,all broken up , after i was done with this Pastelao , the french way.

This is a wonderfully sweet way to get something sweet , which u need , after dinner , with ur espresso...

And with the v familiar , comforting flavors of cinnamon and vanilla together ,cover tis crunchy pastry...

And butter ...oh butter....

So all u do is line a pie plate (pic below) with the leftover filo sheets , broken or otherwise , in layers , dot all around with butter , sprinkle with Cinnamon sugar and Vanilla sugar and there u go...if u have space , bake it along with the Pastelao itself.

 I lovee that little tiny bundle of Vanilla seeds brought together in a little cluster of Vanilla sugar

And flaky ,crispy layers , bake till jus right ....

This wont last u long ,but jus so that u know , it stayed crisp all day , right in the pie plate.

 + jus takes 5mins to put together, its also wonderful on ice cream and to dress up an iced cupcake.

I so want this now....

So if u too have some filo pastry left over , or have lods of breaks while unwrapping/cutting , this is jus what will make u happy.
